Some info about the little beast.

Currently, his name is Dexter.

He is a foster kitten that my family started caring for at 2 weeks of age. He came from a friend of the family who found him abandoned.

He is of ambiguous origin but is of barn cat stock. (that's all we know of his pedigree).

He is a boy.

While Dexter may look fluffy and adorable, anyone who considers taking in a foster kitten of such a young age should consider the following.

~Kittens are a lot of work. They don't use a litter box, can't clean themselves, and spend most of the day crying. They also need to be kept at 80 degrees almost constantly and need to be fed formula that costs around $9 a can. They have to be fed from sterilized bottles and the formula has to be just the right temperature.

~on top of all of this, you are now their mommy. Therefor you need to teach them how to clean themselves, get up 3 times a night to feed them and clean up their poo.

~Despite all the love and care you put into a kitten raised from such a young age, a large number get sick and suddenly die.

Downer info aside, if you can deal with all of the above, it is a very rewarding experience. And he is adorable.
